- Bloggers
- Content creators
- YouTubers

Sellfy Features
Once registered on Sellfy , you will find yourself in the Overview section . where you can see a summary of the recent activity of your online store.
You will also find a link that will take you to see your online store.
From the home page, it is very intuitive to navigate through the different sections that the platform offers you.
For example, you’ll find the Web Analytics section in the Overview section . Here you can see how many visits your online store has received and other data such as the conversion rate and income.
Sellfy divides its tools to sell online into different categories:
- Products
- Customers
- Orders
- Marketing
- Applications
- Store settings
We explain what you can configure in each category of the platform.
Products
Subcategories are digital products, print on demand, subscriptions, physical products, and promotional gifts .
Adding a new product is easy. Just click the Add New Product button . A menu will appear that will guide you through the entire process.
Simply select the type of product. In this example, we’re adding a print-on-demand physical product, like t-shirts.
On the next page, you can add all the details and information of the product, category, price settings and variants.
Once you’re done, click Save Product .
For available print-on-demand products, you’ll see a list of products that Sellfy can print and ship to customers on your behalf without needing to use third-party apps like Printful.
At this time, the list is limited to clothing (t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc.), bags, mugs, stickers, posters, and phone cases (for iPhone and Samsung devices).
Customers
The clients section shows you a list of client history, divided into two categories: All clients and subscriptions .
The Subscriptions section will show you users who paid for a weekly, monthly or annual subscription, as long as you’ve set one up, while the All Customers section reflects those users who have made a direct purchase, such as digital downloads or print products. on demand.
Orders
In the Orders section you will find all your transactions. If there are too many to examine, you can add filters to help you navigate through them.
There is a specific subcategory for pending orders. You can export all orders for a given date range.
It will include information about the buyer, product purchased, country, taxes and email address. It will also show whether the buyer has consented to receive promotional emails.
Marketing
Although the Marketing section may seem basic, it has the most essential marketing tools: Email, coupons and discounts, cart abandonment, and upselling.
Applications
The Applications section is where you can integrate third-party tools. You can choose between:
- Google Analytics
- Facebook Pixel
- Twitter Ads
- Patreon
- Zapier
- Google Merchant Center
- Facebook live chat
We miss a lot more tools and integrations from Sellfy, although you can link more than 2,000 apps through the Zapier tool.
In case you don’t find the app you need, you can always submit an integration request to Sellfy .
Store settings
Store settings contain all the design settings for your online store.
If you head over to Personalization , you can configure details like your store name and domain. You can also turn language settings on or off. When activated, Sellfy will display a translated version of your online store based on the visitor’s location.
Customizing the appearance of your online store is very simple. Just click on the available items and configure it according to your needs.
For example, you can customize your store header, change the background color, increase or decrease the text size, change the alignment, or choose a font.
You can also upload a custom image and use it as a header. Additionally, you can rearrange your products by dragging and dropping them into the editor. Among the sections that you can customize we find:
- Homepage
- Product pages
- Product categories
- Shipping settings
- Purchase and checkout gateway
- Custom pages (about us, contact and terms of service).
Finally, Sellfy has 5 pre-designed templates that you can use to personalize your online store.
Medium
During our online store test with Sellfy , we have reviewed the different evaluations on platforms such as Capterra or GetApp and the evaluation is positive, although some user opinions say that the support needs to improve, indicating that sometimes the response times are somewhat long.
Sellfy offers 24/7 email support , but does not have phone or live chat support at this time.
Sellfy Prices
The free option is no longer available but the cost to get started is still reasonable and there are no transaction fees.
Sellfy has three plans available: Starter, Business and Premium . All plans have a fixed annual or bi-annual or monthly price.
Here are Sellfy’s three pricing plans:
- Starter Plan : costs $29/month and $19/month if paid annually. It has a sales limit of $10,000 per year. You can sell all types of products and connect your domain and access to email marketing and coupon creation tools.
- Business Plan : Includes all features of the Starter plan plus product cross-selling, free migration, and 10,000 email credits. It costs $50/month and has a sales limit of $50,000 per year. It will also show you the details of abandoned carts and remove all Sellfy branding.
- Premium Plan : Has the highest sales limit of $200,000 per year. Includes all features of the Enterprise plan plus 50,000 email credits and priority support for $129 per month.
Note: If you exceed the sales limit of the selected plan, Sellfy will automatically upgrade it to the higher plan and charge you automatically.
Regardless of which plan you choose, you can sell as many products as you want (digital downloads, subscriptions, and print-on-demand products).
In addition, Sellfy has you covered on VAT and tax issues, with a very complete section.
The good thing about the Sellfy platform is that, regardless of the plan you choose, the transaction fee is 0%. You only have to pay the payment gateway commission (Stripe or PayPal).
Pros and Cons of Sellfy
At this point, we show the different pros and cons of Sellfy in our opinion:
- Ease of use : Anyone can register and open an online store.
- Sell any type of product : Digital downloads, subscriptions, videos, music, etc.
- Sell to everyone : Accept payments made through two of the best payment gateways for Ecommerce , PayPal and Stripe.
- Integrations : Sell on your social media website or WordPress blog with purchase buttons.
- Native integration with print-on-demand products : Sellfy stands out for its integration to sell personalized products directly from your Sellfy store, without the need to integrate third-party platforms.
- Zero transaction fees : This means that Sellfy will not take any percentage of your PayPal and Stripe transactions.
- More integrations: Sellfy offers few integrations to choose from. For advanced users, it may not be enough.
- Customization options : The fact that it is so simple limits the customization options compared to other online store creators. However, this makes you focus on selling and not on a super optimized design.
- Product shipping times : Shipping physical products is usually longer than a conventional shipping company.
- Few templates : Sellfy has only five templates available.
Sellfy Alternatives
If you are looking for solutions that allow you to sell both print-on-demand products and digital products, I would recommend Ecwid or Shopify as your best alternatives to Sellfy .
If you focus on selling only digital products such as online courses, webinars or downloads, I encourage you to take a look at Podia . It offers good sales funnel analysis and design tools in its free plan.
Conclusion
Ultimately, Sellfy stands out as a unique e-commerce platform thanks to its focus on simplicity.
Although it can’t be used to build entire eCommerce stores in the same way as BigCommerce and Shopify, it is much easier to use.
So, if you are looking for a platform that eliminates obstacles and allows you to start selling your creations online quickly, it is worth giving Sellfy a try .
I especially like the balance that Sellfy has found between simplicity and functionality. We have tried other platforms that offer a “simple” approach but end up being somewhat restrictive. Fortunately, that is not the case with Sellfy.
In short, Sellfy is an excellent option for online content creators who want to monetize their audience.
